TheYamaha R-N500 Network Receiverfeatures discrete amp configuration that supports 2-channels of stereo sound powered at up to 80W RMS per channel. There's also an unpowered subwoofer pre-out. The system supports network connectivity and provides AirPlay streaming as well. It works with Yamaha's free NP Controller app and supports sound enhancing ToP-ART technology.
The R-N500 has a variety of connectivity options. There are multiple analog audio inputs, as well as dual optical and dual coaxial digital audio inputs. There is also a network RJ-45 Ethernet jack and a front panel USB port where you can hook-up your iPod, iPhone, iPad USB thumb drive or other USB-equipped digital music player.
The system also supports FLAC or WAV 192kHz/24-bit audio playback and you can listen to virtually any Internet source including vTuner Internet Radio and Pandora. There's even an ECO-mode for energy conservation. The system works with optional Wi-Fi or Bluetooth adapters as well.
