ThePioneer VSX-1124-K 7.2-Channel Network AV Receiverdelivers powerful multi-channel sound and near-4K video upscaling. This model produces up to 165W of power per channel and supports dual subwoofer connections for enhanced low frequency sound. Built-in Ethernet connectivity allows you to access Internet radio sources like vTuner and Pandora, and also gives you the ability to connect to other devices on your network for DLNA content sharing. Apple AirPlay is also on-board, which allows you to stream music from compatible audio sources such as iPhones, iPods, and iPads. This model supports Bluetooth and Wi-Fi wireless connectivity via optional adapters.

The Pioneer VSX-1124-K is equipped with seven HDMI inputs and two HDMI outputs for interfacing high-resolution audio and video components like Blu-ray players and streaming devices. In addition 1080p, 3D and 4K pass-through, this model can upscale lower resolution video to near-4K quality when used with a compatible display. This model also has a front panel USB port that supports high-resolution audio formats like FLAC and WAV. For enhanced system control, the free iControlAV5 app is available for downloading on iOS and Android devices. This app will allow you to control the receiver from your compatible smartphone and tablet.

HDMI 2.0
Offering 7 HDMI 2.0 inputs, the VSX-1124-K handles 4K and 1080p video at 60 frames per second. 4K offers four times the resolution of 1080p. HDMI 2.0 is also backwards compatible with earlier versions of HDMI.
Multi-Zone Audio and Video
The multi-zone capabilities of the VSX-1124-K allow you to enjoy different sources connected to the VSX-1124 in multiple rooms. The HDZone output allows you to simultaneously enjoy different HDMI sources in different rooms. So you can watch a Blu-ray movie in the main room, while someone else is watching another HDMI Source (Roku, Cable, etc) in another, all controlled by the VSX-1124-K's remote control or Pioneer's iControlAV5 app.
ESS Sabre 24-Bit DAC
The VSX-1124-K incorporates the ES9006 Sabre Premier audio DAC (Digital-to-Analog Converter). This DAC is engineered to provide enhanced Digital-to-Analog conversion with less jitter compared to other DACs.
Built-In AVNavigator
AVNavigator is designed to simplify the process of connecting and setting up the VSX-1124-K AV receiver. AVNavigator will walk you through connecting and setting up the receiver. You can even explore features of the AV Receiver using the Interactive Operation Guide section. Just push a button on the virtual remote control and AVNavigator will activate the feature and explain what it does.
Roku Ready Certified
Roku allows you to stream movies, shows, music and games from over 1,000 content providers. Simply plug your Roku Streaming Stick into the Roku Certified MHL 2.0 port on the back of your receiver to access a selection of entertainment choices. Control the attached Roku stick from the receiver's remote control or the free iControlAV5 app. The Roku Streaming Stick is sold separately.
Made for iPhone 5 Certification
The VSX-1124-K gives you access to your favorite content and allows you to control it with your smartphone or tablet. It offers iPhone 5s and 5c certification, and as a networked receiver, it supports Apple's AirPlay music streaming technology, allowing you to enjoy your favorite music from your iPhone, iPod or iTunes connected computer.
HTC Connect Built-In
HTC Connect is a unified method of streaming music wirelessly from select compatible Android smartphones. HTC Connect is built right into your compatible phone's music player, making it easy to wirelessly stream your favorite music to your receiver - no separate app required.
DLNA
The VSX-1124-K supports DLNA 1.5 media streaming, which lets you access your favorite music from a DLNA server or computer connected to the same home network. Not only are compressed music files, such as MP3, WMA, and AAC supported, but also high-resolution files, such as FLAC, WAV, AIFF, DSD, and Apple Lossless.
iControlAV5
From switching inputs and controlling volume, to exploring the features of your receiver, the iControlAV5 iOS and Android remote control app offers full control of the VSX-1124-K. You can even playback music stored on your phone using the Push Player feature. The app is available at no cost from the iTunes app store for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch and the Google Play store for Android devices.
High Resolution Support
The Pioneer VSX-1124-K supports high-resolution music playback formats like AIFF, WAV, and FLAC up to 192 kHz/24-bit, Apple Lossless up to 96 kHz 24-bit, and DSD (SACD) files at 2.8 MHz. Compressed formats, such as MP3, WMA, and AAC are also supported. Stream files from your home network, tablet, or even the front USB. The VSX-1124-K even supports multi-channel WAV and FLAC files up to 96 kHz/24-bit.
Internet Radio, Pandora and Spotify
With Internet Radio, the VSX-1124-K gives you access to additional entertainment options. Not only can you enjoy a library of Internet radio stations around the world with vTuner, you can also access your favorite music from Pandora and Spotify, complete with on-screen album art and music information. Spotify Connect is a premium feature that lets you play and control Spotify with your smart devices, and an account is required.
Eco Mode
This Pioneer AV receiver feature an energy-saving ECO Mode that, when enabled, achieves a standby power consumption of 0.1W. With a host of convenience features, including Network Standby and HDMI CEC support, ECO Mode analyzes your sources in real time, adjusting power consumption accordingly to meet your needs. Or you can manually select the power-saving settings that are right for you.
Advanced Multi-Channel Acoustic Calibration (MCACC)
Advanced MCACC creates the optimum acoustic experience for movies and music based on your listening environment. The system, complete with custom microphone and subwoofer EQ, automatically compensates for differences in speaker size, level, and distance, and equalizes the response.
Subwoofer EQ
Subwoofer EQ determines the distance and characteristics of your subwoofer, and makes adjustments using four different frequency parameters and a low-latency DSP to reduce phase and timing errors that are often found in other room calibration systems.
On-Screen Overlay
With On Screen Display (OSD), your receiver's basic information, such as volume, input, and surround mode, will overlay on-screen as you make adjustments with the remote, so you don't have to switch to a blank screen background. This feature can also be disabled if you prefer. Meanwhile, the GUI (Graphical User Interface) lets you easily navigate Internet radio and iPod/iPhone contents. Both the OSD and GUI operate via HDMI.
