Get the ball rolling with an advanced and powerful video setup that also embraces the wide-angle perspective by investing in thePanasonic Lumix DC-GH5 Mirrorless Micro Four Thirds Digital Camera with 8-18mm Lens and Pro HDR Kit.This package squeezes in the powerful and 4K-shooting GH5 with the high-performing Leica DG Vario-Elmarit 8-18mm f/2.8-4 ASPH. lens, which is equivalent to 16-36mm, and a V-Log L function activation code for maximum dynamic range. Taking it to the next level is the inclusion of the Atomos Ninja Inferno 7" recorder/monitor, Atomos Power Kit, and a coiled HDMI cable that will let you capture the 4K footage at up to 60 fps with real-time HDR monitoring.
Upgraded, redesigned, and filled with features, theLumix DC-GH5 Mirrorless Micro Four Thirds Digital CamerafromPanasonicprovides an outstanding imaging platform for shooters who demand some of the best video and still photography quality they can get in a single compact camera. At the heart of the camera is a 20.3MP Digital Live MOS sensor and a newly developed Venus Engine processor, which both offer dramatically improved processing times over its predecessor. This enables the ability to record 4K video at up to 60 fps, 10-bit 4:2:2 internal recording with select settings, Full HD video at up to 180 fps, 12 fps continuous shooting, and sensitivities up to ISO 25600. Also, the camera features built-in 5-axis sensor stabilization, which can work with certain lenses to activate Dual I.S. 2 for highly effective shake correction that can compensate for up to 5 stops of shutter speed. Other improvements include a speedier and more accurate Advanced DFD autofocus system that can lock on in just 0.05 seconds, as well as 6K PHOTO at 30 fps and 4K PHOTO at up to 60 fps.
Along with all these internal improvements, the body received some significant upgrades as well. For viewing and composing images both the 0.76x OLED viewfinder and 3.2" free-angle touchscreen received resolution bumps to 3.68m dots and 1.62 m dots, respectively. This will make shooting more comfortable and more accurate. The magnesium alloy body is now freezeproof to 14F in addition to splash and dustproof. For fast image transfer and saving, there are now two UHS-II SD card slots. Additionally, for a completely wireless setup it offers both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for advanced functionality when paired with a mobile app.
A versatile wide-angle zoom, theLeica DG Vario-Elmarit 8-18mm f/2.8-4 ASPH. LensfromPanasonicis a 16-36mm equivalent lens that blends optical excellence with durable, refined physical design for Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras. Designed in collaboration with Leica, this lens employs a series of low dispersion and aspherical elements to realize sharp and clear imagery with controlled fringing and aberrations, and a Nano Surface Coating also helps to minimize flare and ghosting for increased contrast and color accuracy. The durable metal lens body is splash, dust, and freezeproof for use in trying environmental conditions, and a fast 240 fps autofocus drive suits both photo and video shooting in a variety of working situations.
Maximize the dynamic range of the Lumix DMC-GH4, DC-GH5, or DMC-FZ2500 with thisV-Log L Function Activation CodefromPanasonic. This code, which is delivered on a physical card, allows you to easily install the V-Log L gamma onto the camera, giving you a flat profile that provides a wide dynamic range of up to 12 stops, improving upon the range previously attainable with the GH4, GH5, or FZ2500. The addition of this gamma also allows users to better match color with existing Varicam systems that feature standard V-Log, as both profiles utilize the same characteristic curve and LUT. Additionally, the profile has been developed to have similar characteristics of Cineon, which is used for film digitization.
Updating your camera is a stepped process similar to updating your firmware; although, you will need this activation code along with your camera's serial code to generate an upgrade key from Panasonic's Update Portal. This upgrade code is also region specific and is designed to work with cameras distributed in the USA.
The 12 to 24"AtomFLEX HDMI (Type-A) Male to HDMI (Type-A) Male Coiled Cablelets you transmit HDMI 2.0 signals between devices and components. The coiled design reduces clutter, and the die-cast metal HDMI (type-A) connector provides a stable connection. This cable supports 4K video at up to 60 fps and HD video at up to 240 fps.
Able to record DCI and UHD 4K signals at up to 60 fps, theAtomos Ninja Infernomakes a great companion to cameras and camcorders that output uncompressed video over HDMI. The monitor itself features 10-bit FRC processing and AtomHDR display technology that supports a 10-stop brightness range, allowing you to more accurately monitor your log gamma footage without having to view flat, washed-out looking images or use a LUT to compress the dynamic range and color space. The monitor offers built-in presets to accurately translate popular log formats from Sony, Canon, Panasonic, ARRI, RED, and JVC cameras. The settings only affect viewing, with recorded video remained unaltered.
In addition to HDR monitoring, the monitor also offers a High Bright mode for traditional Rec. 709 monitoring. This mode takes advantage of the full 1500 cd/m brightness to allow for more confident monitoring in bright outdoor environments, even without a sun hood. In HDR mode, use of an included snap-on sun hood is available, as displaying a wider brightness range reduces the overall brightness of the monitor.
Incoming video signals can be recorded in a wide range of Apple ProRes and Avid DNx codecs which maintain high quality while not requiring the storage space of uncompressed video. Both ProRes and DNx are edit-friendly, requiring no conversion in post-production to ensure smooth playback and compatibility with most common video editing software. Standard 2.5" SATA III recording media is supported, with compatible SSDs able to record in all formats including 4K and high-frame-rate HD.

Built to withstand the rigors of production, the Ninja Inferno features built-in protective armor that features silicone-covered corners and chamfered edges. Like its predecessor, the Ninja Flame, the Inferno features dual Sony L-Series battery plates that support battery hot-swapping, enabling longer run times with hot-swapping. For audio recording, the monitor supports balanced XLR inputs with 48V phantom power and XLR outputs via separately available audio breakout cables. Additional features include a variety of onscreen exposure analysis, framing, and focus assist tools. A power supply, SSD Caddy, and a travel case are included with the unit.
TheAtomos Power Kitincludes two NP-F750 5200mAh batteries, a charger, and a power adapter for the Shogun/Ninja Inferno and Flame.
