  • The Onkyo TX-NR3030 11.2-Channel Network AV Receiveris designed to a deliver a powerful and immersive multi-channel audio experience. Integrated Dolby Atmos technology allows the receiver to produce enhanced multi-dimensional sound when connecting front height speakers. This receiver features Onkyo's WRAT amplifier technology and delivers up to 135W per channel at 8 ohms for robust audio playback. 

    Built-in Bluetooth allows you to wirelessly connect to other Bluetooth-enabled audio sources such as computers, smartphones and tablets. Onboard Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity gives you the ability to stream music from Internet radio sources and use DLNA technology to share content with compatible networked devices. Two Wi-Fi antennas are on the rear of the receiver for optimized signal range. 

    The Onkyo TX-NR3030 has eight HDMI inputs for interfacing audio and video sources. There's also a USB port on the receiver's front-panel for interfacing additional audio sources. This home theater receiver supports 3D and 4K video pass-through, and utilizes Qdeo technology to upscale lower resolution video sources to conform to 4K displays. Onkyo also offers a free remote app for controlling your receiver from a smartphone or tablet. Built-in high-resolution audio support allows you to take advantage of dynamic surround sound formats like DTS-HD and DolbyTrueHD.

    Dolby Atmos Multi-Dimensional Sound
    Dolby Atmos uses object-oriented mixing to layer independent audio elements through discrete channels, moving three-dimensional sound effects around your listening environment. The format adapts to any home theater layout incorporating height channels for a more enveloping soundfield with accurate directional and overhead effects.
    4K Video Upscaling and ISF Calibration
    The TX-NR3030 includes Qdeo 4K upscaling technology, which converts low-resolution video to 1080p (for a Full HD display) or 4K on compatible Ultra HD televisions. Selectable ISF video calibration further optimizes picture quality for enhanced images in bright or low-light conditions.
    Wide Range Amplifier Technology (WRAT)
    With Onkyo's Wide Range Amplifier Technology (WRAT), three custom transformers and separated processing and amplification blocks produce high-current driving power while reducing unwanted electrical interference on the audio signal. Seven premium 192 kHz/32-bit TI Burr-Brown DACs and two 32-bit DSP engines handle digital decoding with Three-Stage Inverted Darlington Circuitry amplification and discrete low-impedance output transistors.
    THX Select2 Plus for Reference-Level Sound
    THX certification helps ensure the same high volume, low-distortion sound you experience in a commercial theater in your listening room. The TX-NR3030 receiver passed more than 2,000 laboratory tests to ensure every aspect of audio performance meets rigorous THX standards for theater-reference sound. THX Select2 Plus is recommended for screen-to-seat viewing distances of 10-12' (3-4m).
    Pure Direct Analog Path for Interference-Free Hi-Fi Amplification
    Pure Direct Analog Path mode brings high fidelity sound to vinyl, SACD, or CD playback via your home theater. With this mode engaged, every digital circuit is physically shut down to prevent interference. Signals pass directly from the phono or analog audio inputs to the amplifiers and arrive at your front loudspeakers in pure analog form. This mode lets your A/V receiver double as a dedicated all-analog hi-fi stereo amplifier.
    HDMI for 4K/60 Hz Video and HDCP 2.2
    All the receiver's HDMI terminals support 4K video at 60 frames per second and 21:9 cinema aspect. You can also add enveloping 11.2-channel surround sound to Ultra HD games and video for robust entertainment experience. The TX-NR3030 also supports HDCP 2.2 DRM copy protection via HDMI Input 3 and the main output, which is essential for viewing premium streamed and broadcast Ultra HD content.
    Three HDMI Outputs for Multizone Video
    The Zone 2 HDMI output routes 1080p video from media players connected to your receiver to a second TV. You can also control the zone from the Onkyo remote app control. The HDMI sub-out is ideal for connecting a projector.
    DTS Neo:X 11.1-Channel Upmixing
    DTS Neo:X employs unique algorithms to upmix stereo or 5.1-channel soundtracks for playback through up to eleven channels. Selectable listening modes optimize frequency response for music, movies, and games with intelligent multiplexing technology, allowing you to enjoy balanced and immersive surround sound from regular stereo sources.
    Powered Multi-Zone Audio and Bi-Amping
    Powered Zone speaker terminals let you power audio in another room equipped with speakers, controlling content in both zones via smartphone. You can also assign surround back channels to bi-amp your front loudspeakers.
    AccuEQ Room Calibration
    AccuEQ measures and corrects speaker distances, levels, crossovers, and frequency response from one convenient listening position to ensure clear and cohesive surround-sound while enabling playback of 7.1-channel formats at 96 kHz (no down-sampling). For optimized stereo performance, AccuEQ bypasses the front channels so the unique characteristics of your loudspeakers can be displayed without DSP correction to potentially alter the sound.
