CASIO has applied its unique new Laser & LED Hybrid Light Source to achieve breakthrough development of a mercury-free high-brightnessprojector. Adopting a new semiconductor-based light source system combining a blue laser, phosphor and a red LED, we have achieved bothhigh-brightness performance enabling projection in well-lit rooms and environmental friendliness with mercury eliminated from the light source.
CASIO developed a new semiconductor light source technology combining a red LED, phosphor and a blue laser. This source achieves high luminance safelyby employing a phosphor device to modify the wavelengths and phases of blue laser light.

The light sources life of approximately 20,000 hours far outshines that of conventional projectors that require mercury lamp replacement. It savesmaintenance labor and contributes to a significant reduction in operating costs. Since brightness degradation is more gradual than with mercurylamps, moreover, it maintains vivid image quality through long-term use.
Projection at maximum brightness is achieved in as few as five seconds, and the time from startup to screen display is shortened dramatically, facilitating more effective use of limited time. No cooling down is necessary, moreover, when the power is turned OFF. Users can complete theprocess from setting up to packing up smartly and speedily.

The dramatic improvement in color purity achieved by the new light source has significantly improved color reproduction. Not only are the colorsclearer and more beautiful, but the projected images also look brighter due to the visual effects of the high-purity colors. Users benefit fromclearer, more powerful images than conventional projectors can achieve.
A DLP 3D projection function* enables stereoscopic image display that is impossible with 2D projection. This can enhance viewers'understanding of presentation contents. A built-in 5W speaker further expands the possibilities for presentations.
A wireless LAN function (IEEE802.11b/g) with MobiShow* compatibility is installed for versatility. Wireless connection with smartphones and other mobile devices as well as with Windows PCs is also possible. The inclusion of a USB 2.0 host function* enables usersto project presentation materials saved in USB memory with no PC connection.

TheXJ-M250 DLP Data ProjectorfromCasiofeatures 3000 lumens and 1800:1 contrast ratio which yields improved color performance with an emphasis on natural color by refining a waveform based on the lamp spectrum and color wheel characteristics. This brilliant color rendition is brought to screen sizes from 35 to 300" (889 to 7620mm) with a XGA resolution and a 1.5x optical zoom - impressive specs for a projector.
The wide connectivity includes HDMI, component, composite and S-video. Other convenience features include superior color, high brightness and the projector is a Casio Laser and LED hybrid device. The low fan noise means that it will be seen and not heard whether rear projected, ceiling or table mounted. And the projector features a 5W monaural speaker.
Add the excitement of dynamic DLP 3D ready projection to your business and education applications. The XJ-M250 can display DLP 3D ready content from a 3D capable computer and with the optional 2D-3D conversion software converts and view 2D composite video content. Active shutter DLP 3D ready glasses and software required and sold separately.
Finally, the XJ-M250 has increased I/O connectivity, is 3D ready and has auto brightness adjustment to save power and reduce eye fatigue.
