Features

The Sanyo PDP-42H2W is a HDTV ready plasma display monitor with built-in speakers. The screen in a 42-inch diagonal display. This monitor has over 1 million pixels, 1024 horizontal by 1024 vertical dots. It will display HDTV formats up to 1080i through component, computer or DVI-D inputs. It can also be connected to DVD players and VCRs with Composite or S-Video as well as the Component Video selections.

The PDP-42H2W, a wide-screen flat display, will accept the highest quality video from HDTV tuners and dish receivers. It has over 1 million active picture elements to show amazing detail and color variation that was impossible only a few years ago. The monitor is also capable of showing images from your DVD players and VCRs no matter what quality they may be. Component inputs can be used for the newer DVD machines. S-Video inputs can be used for the camcorders and S-VHS VCRs that have hit the consumer market in the last few years. Standard VHS VCR tapes can also be displayed in the highest quality possible with this screen.

When Component Video is input the user may select from several picture/sound combinations such as Natural, Dynamic and Cinema modes. When data from a computer or a DVI-D device is input the user may select from Graphic, Text and Memory settings.
 
This monitor will cover much ground for your image display requirements. In addition to pure video, the monitor will also accept PC/RGB inputs effectively making this 42-inch monitor a giant computer screen. It can also input one channel of digital HDTV through the DVI-D 24-pin input connector.

There are five distinct channels for video input, 2 specifically for 3 cable component video and an additional 3 channels for any mix of BNC, RCA or S-Video inputs. A Monitor Out set of connectors gives you the choice of RCA or BNC Composite Video with stereo audio for output to another screen or to a recording device.
