You've got yourself an Optoma DLP projector with 3D capability and a 3D-capable Blu-ray player along with a 3D Blu-ray movie or two. Now all you need are a few pairs of Optoma ZD101 DLP Link 3D Glasses.
The glasses support resolutions of XGA, WXGA And 720p at a contrast ratio of 1000:1. And in addition to using them to watch 3D movies they're also great for playing 3D games.
These active shutter glasses do not require an emitter in the projector. The projector displays 120 frames per second—60 frames for your left eye alternating with 60 frames for your right eye. Those "shutters" on the left lens turn black for the 60th of a second the right eye's image is being projected and vice versa. Because the change is so fast, your brain sees the two sets of images as a single 3D image.
The glasses are battery-operated and two CR2032 coin-type batteries (included) last about 70 hours in normal use.
Get ready for incredible 3D action right in your own home. But before you do, be sure to read the warning on the right side of this page.
