The CE42LH2WP Weatherproof 42" LCD Monitor from Sanyo has several unique features that set it apart from the competition. Sanyo has used its environmental and engineering expertise to produce a uniquely weatherproof large-screen monitor. Now with the CE42LH2WP there is no need to worry about what kind of display can be used in many outdoor situations or even aboard ship. The Sanyo CE42LH2WP is suitable for just about any external environment with the tough international IP-66 rating.

The Sanyo CE42LH2WP carries a coveted IP-66 rating. The Ingress Protection, or IP, ratings were established by the European Committee for Electro Technical Standardization (CENELEC, described IEC/EN 60529) and specify the environmental protection an enclosure provides.

The Sanyo CE42LH2WP has lighter weight, runs cooler and uses less electrical power than similarly-sized plasma monitors. The CE42LH2WP makes no compromises on image quality with full HD resolution (1920 by 1080 pixels), up to 500 nit with sunlight conditions, 178 degree V/H viewing angle and a stunning 1000 to 1 contrast ratio.

The CE42LH2WP comes equipped with a wide variety of AV, computer input terminals so that you can make full use of the LCD monitor's colorful, blur-free, high speed 9ms response time while watching a wide range of real time video signals. In addition to all the above features, like other Sanyo display products, the CE42LH2WP can be fitted with Sanyo's PJ-Net Organizer so that this large, outdoor monitor can be controlled over the Internet.

Weatherproof LCD Monitor
Sanyo has used all of its expertise in creating a lightweight aluminum framed LCD monitor which is protected by anti reflected tamper glass. This means that the Sanyo weatherproof monitor can be used in a wide variety of environments due to it having IP66 weather-resistant approval. The Sanyo weatherproof LCD will make the ideal display for the pub courtyards and gardens (perfect due to the recent no-smoking lows), digital signage, industries and public display
Extensive Input & Output Terminals
The 42LH2WP has various input and output terminals including component (Y,Pb,Pr) or RGBHV input and output with 5-BNC, composite video input and output with BNC, and RS-232 control port (serial D-Sub 9) input and output which offer the daisy chain connection. There are computer inputs (a D-Sub 15 RGB terminal) and DVI-D input with HDCP for high definition signals. There are also jacks for an external speaker
Anti-Reflection Tamper Glass
The 42LH2WP has a tough anti-refection tampered glass. This offers the protection for the panel surface in the public display circumstance. The glass is approximately 1/10 less reflection and 5 times tougher than the usual float glass
Aluminum Cabinet & Non Holes Design
The 42LH2WP uses anodized aluminum the same materials as a sailing boat and it has a quite unique 'Non-Holes' ventilation design which protect against mischief in the public display applications and less maintenance from dust and oil circumstance
