TheSony SCL-P11X15 11-16mm T3.0 Wide Angle Zoom Lens (PL Mount)is a perfect wide angle companion for the PMW-F3 CineAlta camcorder or any compatible cinema-worthy camera with a PL mount.

The lens is specifically designed to fit the PL adapter that ships with the PMW-F3, and it's fully able to supply lens metadata to the camera as well.

The 11-16mm zoom has a nice, wide maximum aperture of T3.0, and throughout the focal range, the lens handily captures tight interiors for projects such as documentaries, episode TV, or cinema productions.

Lens Data Read, Used & Stored by PMW-F3

Metadata from the SCL-P11X15 lens can be viewed on a monitor connected to the PMW-F3 or stored on the camcorder's SxS Pro card. Iris, focus, and zoom data can be utilized in motion-control rigs and VFX processing. This is also useful for continuity in re-shoots
