When it comes to installation and setup, a host of features work to make it as effortless as possible. The short throw lets you get close to your projection surface, and the lightweight and compact size increases your mounting options. With 360° horizontal and portrait modes, four-corner correction, and a motorized fixed lens, you can adjust for awkward angles and surfaces. Once set up, a massive 7000-lumen DuraCore system delivers Full HD content with lifelike HDR contrast at sizes from 50 to 300".

Flexible Image Correction
  • Motorized Lens: The motorized lens lets you quickly adjust up to 1.26x zoom, focus, and lens shift
  • Four-Corner Correction: Adjust both vertical and horizontal keystone, along with individual corner warping, to create a perfectly square image on most any surface

DuraCore

Industry leading lifetime is achieved using Optoma’s new DuraCore technology. Implementing advanced laser diode cooling techniques and an innovative dust resistant design, and light source lifetime at 20,000 hours.

Airtight optical engine

Precision engineered with an IP5X Certified system, the ZU720TST has an airtight engine that resists dust particles and ensures a long lasting, reliable and practically no maintenance light source of up to 20,000 hours. The ZU720TST laser light source is free of mercury and environmentally friendly compared with traditional lamp-based projectors.

Advanced Thermal Design

A mixed combination of long and short heat pipes increases the heat dissipation by 10% and the fan running speed is lowered and results in quiet operation.

Optimized Cooling System

The inner components placement creates a flow field that requires min. air flow. The efficient cooling also contributes to the ZU720TST’s low noise operation.

Quick start-up and shutdown

The ZU720TST features quick start-up and shutdown and reaches full brightness quickly. To maximize energy saving it also includes a ‘pause projection’ feature where the light source can be completely shut off. Unlike conventional lamp based projectors, the laser- light source requires minimal cool-down time.

Total cost of ownership

For demanding applications the total cost of ownership of a projector is not in the purchase cost, but in expensive maintenance and service. ProScene projectors require very little maintenance; have no user serviceable parts inside and no filters that require periodic replacement. Optoma laser projectors have adopted DLP® micro-mirror technology which provides highly efficient bright images with high contrast, maintaining precise color accuracy and natural real-world color reproduction.

DLP® technology

DLP® technology from Texas Instruments® is widely recognized and acclaimed for its unmatched reliability and long lasting image performance. When combined with high brightness and native contrast ratios, it becomes the obvious choice for demanding applications. Independent testing has proven DLP® to be the most reliable of projector technologies. Whilst other technologies may show image quality decline after only a few thousand hours, DLP® technology can remain unchanged over hundreds of thousands of hours. Images remain accurate, and colors suffer virtually no degradation over time.

Constant Power Mode

There are 4 adjustable steps to control the laser power 100/80/65/50%.  It means the brightness can dim to 50% of full brightness if the application requires.

Constant Luminance Mode

This mode is used when there is a need to keep certain  brightness level for certain period of time.

Eco Mode

50% of original brightness.

Extreme Black

In situations where only absolute darkness is required, the ZU720TST can provide a total blackout that functions like mechanical shutter.
